The Individual Support Disability Skill Set will give you the extra skills needed to be able to work directly with clients living with disabilities. You will learn how to empower people with disabilities using a personal-centred approach, and provide a positive and safe environment for them to engage and grow in. You will learn to consider the persons needs, strengths and capabilities at home and in social contexts to build confidence and self-esteem, in this highly challenging and rewarding area.
Successful completion of is Skill Set will provide credits to a range of courses offered in the Community Services and Health sectors, including the Advanced Diploma of Nursing.
